【Impression】Slasher Route

Aight, I finally finished the Slasher route!
I’ve been really busy, so I haven’t played much, but I finally got the chance to complete this route.
As usual, spoilers beware.
For me, the Slasher route is what I’d call “the bad ending” route. It really is the bad ending type, but it’s still fun.
I do feel like the route drags a bit, but if you love zombie stuff and that whole serial killer vibe, you might enjoy it. I actually think this route puts more emphasis on the serial killing mystery vibe compared to the Killing Game route. KG is fun too, but I kinda prefer Slasher because it has zombies and even some ryona elements lol.
In this route, we see Takumi being way more frustrated and despairing than ever, so if you’re a Suffering-Takumi enjoyer, you’ll probably like this one.
The biggest twist for me was about G'ie and Hiruko.
As for G'ie, I didn’t realize that Takumi ended up like that because of G'ie. I originally thought it was because he absorbed Eito’s cryptoglobin (like how KG hinted that Takumi’s killing mode might be influenced by Eito’s cryptoglobin). Turns out it was actually because of G'ie, which is some kind of weird insect-like alien.

and I love how sexo G'iekumi is, truly doujin material and I need porn of G'iekumi NOW
As for Hiruko, this was the biggest twist. I didn’t expect her to be a time-looper like Takumi, like, bro, that came out of nowhere. But at the same time, I’m not that surprised, since they kinda foreshadowed it with how experienced she is. I also can’t believe she’s actually the TRUE heroine.

Lowkey, I like Hiruko and Takumi more than NozoTaku.
Anyway, I think the Slasher route is an acquired taste. I can see why some people might be put off by it since it gets pretty absurd, but it’s definitely fun if you’re into AU or gaiden-esque stories.
Personally, I’d rate it 7.8/10.
Now, time to do the Eva route.
