【Impression】V'ehxness route

Finally finished V'ehxness route and surprisingly it's very short, but I am enjoyed it so far & here we goo

Okay, my impression of this route: we need more Commanders screen time and more Futuran lore.

This route honestly just made me way more interested in the Commanders and Futuran as a whole. I think it feels very refreshing PRECISELY because we finally get a glimpse of the Commanders—we barely knew anything about them before aside from Eva and V’ehxness + them getting jobbed hard a la Saturday morning cartoon villain. Getting to see their personalities and agendas is really neat.

I do like V’ehxness’s personality, though. She’s extremely dommy mommy, but in a very “you cannot fix her” / “whatever happens to her is fucking hot” kind of way, and V’ehx really embodies that. I honestly think she’s like a female Gilgamesh, mainly because both are very power-sexual. V’ehx isn’t exactly a hedonist like Gil, but they both have extremely strong confidence in their prowess and will do anything to get what they want!

My main criticism of this route is that it’s too short, and I also find the way V’ehx falls for Takumi very cringe. Maybe it’s because the route is so short, but I just don’t feel anything about V’ehx x Takumi. We barely know V’ehx, and she doesn’t even interact with Takumi that much, so seeing her immediately become infatuated with him feels bizarre. This route honestly would’ve benefited from being longer, like the Cult of Takumi route.

The biggest highlight of this route is honestly Addamaque. I never expected this route to make me care about a masked oresama Commander, but I’m genuinely very interested in him. He doesn’t have much screen time, but his personality immediately hooked me, especially his hatred of V’ehx and his desire to get rid of her. It’s really interesting, and it’s nice to see that not all Commanders are on board with V’ehx. Honestly, we need more drama on the Commanders side tbh.



Also I really love Addamaque & Tsubasa interaction! it just so interesting despite he came off as no non-sense guy & has hatred toward Invaders (human) he surpsingly can have sympathy with Tsubasa. I love it soo much, wish we can help Addamaque tho.
 

I don’t know how it is in other routes, but I really want more Commander screen time. This route gave us brief glimpses of their personalities: Quenzelle being a total coward, Turamtammi being a massive cunt, Nyewgank being the tired uncle, and Zen’ta’s dilemma and it just made me crave more. I really want to see more interactions between the Commanders.

Overall, the writing in this route is kinda meh because it’s very short. I also really dislike how V’ehx immediately becomes infatuated with Takumi—it feels way too much like it’s trying to cater to waifu dudebros. I’d give this route a 5/10.
