【Impression】Cult of Takumi Route

Okay, so I finally finished the Cult of Takumi route! I’ve already done both endings 41 and 42.

I really think this route was meant to be a bait-and-switch. It’s a very self-indulgent route, but intentionally so to lure players (especially coomers or waifutards with zero self-awareness) and then punish them for their choices, lol. I mean, this route has so much fanservice clearly aimed at waifu dudebros, with how many characters go OOC because of drugs (Yugamu should making aphrodisiacs for Takumi, honestly).



I didn’t expect that believing Nozomi would lead to such a brutal outcome and that you’d also get a gay sex scene—while, funnily, believing the gay yandere twink gives you a better outcome… though it’s still messed up, with Nozomi ending up brainwashed into “loving” Takumi.

This route is definitely meant for people who enjoy bad ends or meriba endings.
Personally, I liked it because yandere Eito is just too fucking good, man.

This route feels like it catered heavily to me, and now I totally get why Eitaku (or Takuei, if they like uke Eito) fujos absolutely love this route sooooo much.

It’s also funny to me how fujoshi are winning so hard here, even though this route was clearly meant for coomer dudes, lmao.



On the other hand, I was right about the “Invaders” being something else—like a different species or race—and that humanity might actually be in the wrong. I was right off the bat.



It also seems there are still a lot of mysteries left to uncover, and I’m especially curious about Sirei’s statement that the SDU weren’t “chosen” but were actually “created.” Hmmm… I wonder what that really means.

Overall, the writing is pretty okay, and I think you shouldn’t expect anything serious when doing this route. It’s a filler route, but not a bad one. I can see why a lot of people say it’s great for first-timers—it’s short, easy to finish, and still reveals some information.

My score is 7.5/10. Yandere Eito honestly saved this route for me. I fucking loved seeing him drop to his knees for Takumi like a puppy madly in love, lmao.

Anyway, I’m going to try Sacrifice Tsubasa next, since I believe it leads to the V’ehxness route? so let’s gooo.
