I'm just doing egosa on JPs twitter and found some interesting interpretation regarding N's sword & Malos:

So basically the one who slay Na'el curse—who, having despaired over humans killing each other, was made into God's proxy—was the Sword of the End (Logos) held by N, right? And this is support Rex's answer when he said that both Pneuma AND Logos would save the world: that Malos, once Amalthus’s Blade, cut himself free from the chains of the past, became a new self, and chose to protect the world together with someone else moving forward.

This is honestly such a good interpretation omg. I feel like maybe Logos (Malos) was being “tested” in Aionios—the collective unconscious of humanity, facing the fear of the future—yet Malos still couldn’t move on from his past. After the lessons he learned in Alrest, he finally understood what his answer was and how to improve himself. He chose to ally with Noah because Noah’s view aligned with his own: that Aionios deserved to be destroyed and humanity should face an uncertain future together.

But then things changed: Noah became N, choosing instead to maintain the status quo. Then Alpha (Ontos) appeared, wanting to erase everything. Rather than fixing anything, Alpha just wanted to “dump” everything and ignore the problems, which is a big no-no. Alpha used Na’el’s hatred of soldiers and war to make her the perfect vassal for his plan. Pneuma and Logos disagreed. Pneuma’s disagreement wasn’t surprising, but Logos’s was, and it’s shown when N gives his power to slay Na’el’s core. Symbolically, that act represents Logos defying Ontos’s plan.

Maybe it’s coincidence, but what if N or Noah unconsciously agreed? Perhaps Malos believed Noah’s revolutionary side was still there, just… not the right time, or not the right version of Noah. This is also shown during the N vs. Noah showdown after the eclipse: when Noah’s Ouroboros form destroys N’s sword, it’s basically symbolic of Malos/Logos giving up on N. Malos doesn’t want to stay trapped in the “endless now” he wants to move forward.

fuck, I am crying, it just makes me excited about the possibility of Malos being in XB4....Takahashi please do not fucking disappoint me

fukaimetsu: Malos upset face (Xenoblade 2 - Malos)
Something that's been on my mind....

Thinking about how each Xenoblade entry focuses on one of the Trinities, where the narrative and story revolve around how the Trinity behaves, it feels so much like a reflection of human "fantasies" about "female" and "male" fantasy. It's hard to explain, but take XB2 for example, where the main focus is Pneuma. Pneuma's personalities (Pyra & Mythra) behave a lot like what the "ideal" woman looks like from a male point of view. People often think Pyra and Mythra’s demeanor is for Rex, but I digress — I think there’s some meta-commentary in the story. Their portrayal wasn’t meant to titillate Rex, but rather the player (at least that’s what I think). Pyra and Mythra's personalities follow popular female character archetypes or tropes that are well-liked by male audiences in Japanese media. Pyra being the Yamato Nadeshiko (Ideal Wife), while Mythra is the tsundere, adding moe and cuteness, one of the most popular archetypes in many danseimuke media.

It just makes me think that the Trinity Processors were really designed to appeal to, and incorporate, many tropes that players like. In XB1, Ontos feels like a character designed for both male and female players, like Ontos is a combination of both. Though personally, I feel Alvis was more catered to female audiences, hahaha.

As for Logos, we don’t know yet because we haven’t had a Logos-focused game (and no, XB3 doesn’t count, Logos doesn’t play an active role there). But we can guess that Malos seems designed with male audiences in mind, maybe because his resonator was a man (Amalthus). So in a way, Malos or Logos  tailored his personality to appeal to male sensibilities.

Damn, I’m rambling, but I wonder if the Trinity behaves that way based on which human they resonate with? Pneuma resonates with men, and Ontos resonates with both women and men, so their personality and demeanor are tailored to be an idealized version of the gender their ''resonator" represents. Since Logos also resonated with a man, maybe he's also tailored to appeal to males fantasy?

Hmmm... I wonder which gender the XB4 protagonist will be, and who they'll resonate with — Logos, perhaps? Just makes me curious.

Thinking that more or less confirmed Monolith soft pay attention to their fanbase meme and feedback. and Lucky 7 being Fiora is reference of Fiora nickname to not spoiling her identity. makes me wonder if Monolith staff or Takahashi is aware of Metsublade or Malos being menhera boy magnet meme in the community....
would be funny if Malos or Logos latched onto another mentally ill men again for the fourth time LOL.
fukaimetsu: Noah in sunset (Xenoblade 3 - Noah)
This frustrates me because Xenoblade fans can be fucking weird. It’s really annoying whenever I see people trying to assign "age-coding" to Pyra and Mythra—like they’re supposed to be "teen-coded" or "adult-coded." Literally, who the fuck cares? They’re computers.

I know people do this because of Protestant moral panic—oh nyo, the Big Tits Computer Ladies are "grooming" a 15-year-old boy into being their husband, or they need to justify jerking off to Blade ladies by claiming they’re "adults." It’s such an asinine and shallow interpretation that amounts to nothing. These sword women are artificial intelligence, their age DOES NOT FUCKING MATTER!!! You can’t apply a normal human age perspective to them.

What’s also reaaaalllllly curious is how they only do this to Pyra and Mythra but not Malos. Somehow, Malos is defaulted to "adult," even though he acts more like a goddamn teenager than Pythra ever did. (As I’ve written before, Pyra and Mythra display far more emotional maturity and rationality than people give them credit for.)

I know I shouldn’t look into it too much, but it’s really fucking weird how they insist the female personas are "teen-coded." It reeks of infantilization. The series itself shows that the male persona (Malos) is far more childish than the female personas (Pyra/Mythra), yet I’ve never seen anyone call Malos "teen-coded." What’s frustrating is that people only label Pyra and Mythra as teens because they don’t want to be seen as endorsing "grooming" (which is fucking dumb—they’re not, even if they were "adult-coded"). Meanwhile, nobody calls Jin a groomer or manipulator toward Malos, even though Jin is technically much older and call the ship is abusive because Malos indirectly caused Jin’s suffering.

That aside, I don’t care if you ship Pythra/Rex or Jin/Malos—I couldn’t care less about shipping discourse, and they’re just fictional. But I do care when this happens to my favorite characters. People slap unnecessary labels and shallow interpretations on them just because they’re terrified of their Protestant moral values, as if their ship might "indicate grooming." or they dislike a certain ship because their low IQ think fictional shipping contribute to Real Life Criminal statistics.

Newsflash: The Trinity Processor doesn’t have fucking ages. They aren’t "teen/adult-coded" or whatever bullshit you’ve concocted. They’re AI, and their personalities are shaped by the humans who resonate with them. You can’t just shove human age categories onto them—their very existence contradicts that. They’re not human, figuratively, they’re more like deities.

People who insist on age-coding the Trinity Processors deserve to be shoved into a locker. I swear, these types are always the most annoying.

I've been stalking some Japanese Malos fan accounts because I wanted to know their thoughts, and I found out that a lot of them like Madoka Magica and love Homura. It’s such a funny coincidence—how Malos fans also tend to like Homura. I knew it! Anyone who likes Malos would definitely like Homura too.

The really interesting thing is that one person mentioned that, between Pyra and Mythra, the one who probably hasn’t forgiven Malos is Mythra—because in a way, Malos is responsible for Milton’s death and for sinking the Torna Titan.

And I totally agree with that. It just makes sense when you think about it. I can see Pyra being able to forgive Malos, she knows what he did, but she only witnessed Mythra’s trauma from an outside perspective. In a way, she’s not really that emotionally attached to Torna. She feels guilty, yeah, but I feel like that guilt is more imprinted on her or forced onto her rather than something she organically experienced. You can even hear it in her voice—whenever Pyra talks about Torna, there's a distant tone in how she speaks, like she's explaining it from what she knew, not from firsthand experience.

Mythra, on the other hand, experienced everything directly and actually developed real bonds with a lot of the Torna cast. So she’s the most hurt. I can totally see her having a hard time forgiving Malos if they met post-game—she’d probably want nothing to do with him.

It just makes me think about an AU scenario where Malos survives the whole ordeal at the World Tree and ends up joining Rex's crew or something. It would be super interesting to see how Mythra would behave toward him in that kind of setting.

a bit rant

NGL, the reason why I am in my Xeno fixation is because Malos.
I am so crazy about him and he really my most favorite character , I get sad when he's dead but that's to be expected he's the main villain.
so I hoping trinity processor will get expanded in the next game & I was so hyped when XB3 got announced expecting we will get Logosblade but then it didnt happen, so I just...bummed.
like I dont expect Malos will be appeared but just maybe Logos will be relevant or we get new Logos instantation.
but then FR happen & I kinda have slight hope but don't wanna get cockblocked again.
then the artbook releases where Takahashi hinted that Malos could be relevant in the next game. Like that's the best part for me!
I almost got high dopamine from that revelation alone & since then I become full Xeno brainrot.
Malos really do make me care so much about this series.
maybe because I just got ''trauma'' (lol) but maybe more got mindbroken seeing one of my most favorite character, Loki (GBF) got such shitty treatment that I tend to have lower expectation lol. especially when Malos is dead.
but im glad Malos stuck in BETTER series with creator who actually gives a fuck about him. thanks god.
also because of this revelation it makes me excited to do meta! it just like old days where's I overanalyzing everything

Okay, this seems random, but I need to get this out of my head.

I just had a random thought cross my mind: "Hey, don’t you think Malos and Homura would get along well?"
You guys probably think that’s bizarre as hell, and I don’t blame you, lol! But while it sounds bizarre, I don’t think it’s that far-fetched.

Hmm, let’s see..... While Malos and Homura have different motives in their respective stories, they both share a deep hatred for the world.
Yeah, sorry, but I cannot see someone like Homura actually loving the world itself, she merely 'tolerates' it. The only reason she does what she does in Rebellion is because of Madoka’s love for the world. The TV series already made it clear that she knows the world is a wretched place and hates it because it demands Madoka to suffer and sacrifice herself. She despises it because, essentially, the world took Madoka away from her. Rebellion makes it crystal clear that she hates the world—she only "fixes" it so Madoka can live a normal life.

This is very similar to Malos. While his misanthropy and motives are influenced by Amalthus’ deep hatred for the world, in some ways, Malos also hates the world on his own terms, especially after learning what happened to Jin. He realizes that if the world weren’t so cruel, Amalthus wouldn’t have ended up the way he did, Amalthus wouldn’t have awakened him, the Endbringer, and Jin could have lived a happy life with Lora.

It’s interesting how both of them hate the world because it made someone they deeply cared about suffer.
Honestly, Malos and Homura should meet tbh. I feel like Malos could offer some advice to Homura, and Homura could offer some form of consolation to Malos. If these two ever met, I genuinely think they’d get along well, despite their different "purposes," they share a mutual disdain for the world.
And what a coincidence that they’re both so gay (heh).

If the next Xenoblade game gives us a female protagonist or if Malos ever got a "human" Driver, I’d love for his partner to be someone like Homura. Guess Malos is just naturally compatible with mentally broken people, regardless of gender. lol. Truly Menhera Whisperer
fukaimetsu: Malos upset face (Xenoblade 2 - Malos)

I’ve been thinking about a headcanon for an alternate persona of Malos/Logos, similar to how Pyra and Mythra have dual personalities. For convenience, I’ll call this persona “Logos2.”

I imagine Logos2’s personality being the opposite of Malos in several ways. Here are three ideas I’ve come up with:Read more... )

fukaimetsu: Noah in sunset (Xenoblade 3 - Noah)

stumbled upon reddit thread about a guy convinced that Malos is powering Moebius.

So glad to see a lot of people commenting how they're disagreed & think it doesn't make sense lol.

I'm just glad xenoblade fans finally realizing that...Malos has NOTHING to do with Moebius shenanigan & know that Malos ideology just...don't match with Moebius ideology

On other hand I'm replaying xenosaga & I noticed that whenever there's flashback scene involved of Miltia accident or Zohar-related fuckery.

it's really interesting that, the Zohar ''emit'' aura with tri-colored light that resemble Trinity Processor color....
